We print everything ourselves, in PLA Matte from Bambu Lab. Below you'll find what that material can handle, which colors there are, and how to clean your print.
Our material: PLA Matte from Bambu Lab
Everything in the shop is printed in PLA Matte. We use official Bambu Lab filament, the same for every product.
PLA is a bioplastic made from plant-based raw materials such as corn starch. It's hard and dimensionally stable. It's also a material for indoors: heat decides where your print belongs. Further down you'll find the temperatures where that starts to matter.
The matte finish gives even colors and sharp detail.
Every print is built up layer by layer. Small differences in color, dimensions, layer structure, gloss and surface finish come with that, as do minimal traces of support material. Those aren't defects.

You choose the color of your print on the product page. Below is the filament we're printing with right now.

The colors are an indication. On your screen a color can differ from the real filament.

What your print can and can't handle
PLA is made for indoors. Two things need attention: heat and direct sunlight.
- Heat. PLA softens at 55–60 °C, and in practice a print can start to warp from around 50 °C. A car in the sun easily reaches 60–70 °C, so don't leave your print there. On or just above a radiator is the wrong spot too.
- Direct sunlight. Strong sun fades the color over time. If it stays warm as well, the print can warp. A spot indoors, out of full sun, keeps it looking good longest.
- Outdoors. PLA isn't meant for it.

Cleaning and care
A damp cloth is all it needs. No abrasive cleaners and nothing alcohol-based.
A print can get wet. It isn't waterproof.
The dishwasher is out, for PETG too. It runs at 55–70 °C, and neither material holds up to that.
PETG through the Print Service
The shop is PLA Matte only. If you need PETG, that runs through the Print Service. Our PETG comes from Sunlu or from Bambu Lab. That's a different filament from the PLA Matte in the shop.
PETG handles heat better: it softens at 75–85 °C and holds up to around 70 °C. That makes it the better choice when a print has to take more warmth. The dishwasher stays out for PETG as well.
For the Print Service you supply your file as STL, 3MF, STEP, STP or OBJ, up to 30 MB per file.
