Every design in our shop comes from a designer. Below you'll find how we license those designs, what that means for the product you buy, and what applies to your own file at the Print Service.
How we license our designs
For every design in the shop we hold an ongoing commercial license, straight from the designer. We pay for it monthly.
While that license runs, we can print and sell the design without limits. We're also free to adapt and scale it, for instance to print a design in a different size.
If a license ends, the product leaves the shop. What you've already bought stays yours.
What this means for you
You're buying a product we were allowed to make and sell. That holds, even if the design later disappears from the shop.
You can resell your print, second-hand for example. Making copies yourself isn't allowed: the rights to the design sit with the designer, and we hold a license on them.
Our designers
The collection is curated. We only take on designs we like ourselves, with a preference for clean, modern shapes close to the Japandi style.
These are the designers behind the collection.
SabreDesign
Fine vertical ribbing on an otherwise quiet form: that keeps coming back in SabreDesign's work, from the tray to the kitchen roll holder. Restrained, modern, close to Japandi; matte, neutral tones bring that line out best. We picked this work because it designs things you use every day and still want on display.
SlimPrint
SlimPrint designs vases, and always starts from the silhouette: stacked curves, a sphere on a foot, a straight cylinder with a smooth shoulder. No ornament, just shape. We picked this work because each vase does something different and together they still read as one family. The fine ribbing comes into its own in matte, neutral tones.

Our product photos
We shoot every product photo on this site ourselves. What you see in the photo is a print we actually made.

Your own file at the Print Service
When you send in a request, you confirm you have the right to have the file printed. If a claim comes up later, it sits with you and not with us.
We don't actively check submitted designs for infringement. We use your file only to carry out your job, and for nothing else.
Reporting infringement
Do you think a product in our shop infringes your work? Let us know at info@formr3d.nl or through the contact page. Tell us which product it concerns and what you base it on, so we can look into it.
